Basketball Zero Styles Tier List – What Style to Choose?

Dive into Basketball Zero! Explore our ranked list of play types inspired by Kuroko’s Basketball, complete with skills for dribbling, shooting, and defense.

Basketball Zero, once called Basketball Rivals, has many ways to play that come from characters in Kuroko’s Basketball. Each play type has its own skills that help with dribbling, shooting, and defense. I’ve put all the play types in a list from best (S-Tier) to good (C-Tier) based on how flexible they are, their power, and how well they wake up. You can see the full list below, and I’ll tell you why each one is where it is. New styles can be mined through spins, and spins can be mined from codes for Basketball Zero that bug you on POCKET CODES.

All Styles in Basketball Zero Ranked

Ranking Criteria:

  • S-Tier – The top mix of attack and guard that can do well in many ways. These ways win in many cases.
  • A-Tier – Good but need the right times or team work to get the best use.
  • B-Tier – Okay but not as strong or open to change as the top ones, need others to help out.
  • C-Tier – Can be used but other ways are better because they do more or work better.

S-Tier Basketball Zero Styles

Ace (Mythic)

Ranking Reason: Ace has the top set of dribbling and shooting skills. With Athletic Drive and Athletic Fade, scoring gets very easy. Awakening gives shots that can’t be blocked, making this likely the best style in the game.

  • Pros:
    ✅ Best dribbling moves
✅ Best carry potential in public games
    ✅ Two unblockable moves
  • Cons:
    ❌ Extremely difficult to obtain

Star (Legendary)

Why it ranks: Star has strong moves like Ace but aims for dunks and short play. Its moves are hard to block, but you need to stay close. This makes holding the ball hard.

  • Pros:
    ✅ Hard-to-block or unblockable attacks
    ✅ Two Awakening moves
  • Cons:
❌ Must get close to the hoop, increasing steal risk

A-Tier Basketball Zero Styles

Sniper (Legendary)

Ranking Reason: Sniper is good at long-range hits but needs good team work to stand out. It has half-court and full-court auto-aim shots that can hurt bad if used right. But, its slow pace and need to be in the right spot make it less strong when playing alone or with random people.

  • Pros:
✅ Best shooting moves in the game
    ✅ Auto-aim and guaranteed-score moves
  • Cons:
❌ Dependent on cooldowns and positioning
    ❌ No mobility moves

B-Tier Basketball Zero Styles

Phantom (Epic)

Why it ranks: Phantom is great at helping but needs a good team to work well. It can move fast and pass well, so it does great in set teams. But in games with random players, it’s not as good since it can’t score much.

  • Pros:
    ✅ Best support moves
    ✅ Excellent mobility
  • Cons:
    ❌ Team-dependent playstyle
    ❌ Only one shooting move

C-Tier Basketball Zero Styles

Clutch (Rare)

Why it ranks here: Clutch is good for new players as it has strong attack and defense moves. But, it is slow and has just one special move, which makes it not as strong as Ace.

  • Pros:
    ✅ Great for beginners
  • Cons:
    ❌ Only one Ultimate/Awakening move
    ❌ No mobility moves

Final Thoughts

In Basketball Zero, each style has its own good points. Ace and Star are top picks because they adapt well and have moves you can’t stop. Sniper and Phantom can be great too if the team works well together. Clutch is okay to start with, but it doesn’t stack up to the best choices.
