As you move in the water and grab fish, your net on the screen gets full. The more you play, the more fish you get. If you want to change things, don’t fear to stop your game!
There’s no loss for doing this, and it lets you see all the fish you’ve got. You may spot a new best one to play with, so if you get tired of your current fish, press the End Run button and look at your fish wins.
Craft Better Fish for Stronger Play
When you get 50 of the same fish, you can turn them into a gold one. After some time, you’ll make Rainbow, Glowing, and Shadow fish too, but first, you need to make the gold fish.
Some fish are easy to get 50 of them, but the rare ones? They take a lot more time. Take the Eagle Ray—it’s 1 in 690,000! If you do get enough of a fish, hit Switch Fish → Craft All, and watch your new fish show up.
Use the Fishdex to Track Progress
The Fishdex (over on the left above the shop) keeps all the fish you’ve caught. It’s not just to look at your fish—it rewards you for adding more!
The more fish you get, the more luck and growth you earn. This helps you find rare fish and grow quick. Luck also changes what you get from treasure chests, giving you better things as time goes on. Look at your Fishdex often to get bonuses.
Don’t Trap Yourself in a Corner
The game map is a big box, so you can trap yourself in a corner without knowing. Don’t stick too close to the sides—this only makes it easy for big fish to catch you with no way out.
Try moving to the center when you can. It may look risky, but if you keep an eye on what’s around you, you’ll get more room to move and dodge getting stuck.
Growth vs. Speed: What’s More Important?
Every fish has two key parts—growth and speed. Growth deals with how big you can get when you eat, and speed is about how quick you move.
Some folks like to go for big growth, but at PocketCodes, we say it’s best to care more about speed. Why? If you’re too slow, you might be eaten before you can even grow! If you’re good at moving away from others, you might try out fish with more growth. But at the start, speed is your main ally.
Go for the Center Shrimp
Now and then, a big shrimp pops up in the map’s center. If you can get to it safe, take it!
For little fish, this can help you grow a lot fast. If you’re big already, it won’t help as much, but it’s still good to try for if the way is open.
Don’t Forget to Open Your Treasure Chests
As you play, you’ll find treasure chests by chance. They won’t open at once — you need to wait some time before they’re set.
We suggest opening them in the lobby since the animation is long, and you can’t pass it. If you try to open them during the game, you’ll be stuck looking at the animation while others swim free.
Treasure chests are a good way to get rare fish, so make sure to look at them in the Shop tab every time you log in.
Use Auto-Farm, But Be Careful
Be Fish has an Auto Farm tool, and guess what? It’s totally free—no Robux needed at all! But try not to use it too much.
Auto Farm just makes you move around without a plan. If you’re big and need to go for a bit, it might help. But watch out—there’s a big risk that another player will come and eat you while you’re using it. Use it with care!
