Alright, GHOUL://RE fans—this one’s big. Whether you’ve been mainlining Jason13 or getting melted by Narukami, this update’s gonna shake things up. The devs just dropped a new patch, and it’s stacked with changes that’ll definitely change how matches play out. Here’s a rundown of everything that’s been tweaked, buffed, or downright nerfed.
Let’s talk buffs first:
Narukami is looking nastier than ever. Damage got a blanket increase, and the crit animation? Now just that little bit faster. If you’ve been sleeping on this one, it might be time to pick it back up.
Yamori got a small quality-of-life change with a slightly bigger crit hitbox—might not sound like much, but it could mean the difference between whiffing and winning.
Eto V2 got its X projectile speed fixed on new servers. It’s a subtle fix, but smooths out performance and reliability.
Nutcracker V1 users will feel snappier now—less endlag means quicker recoveries.
YUKI V1 & V2 fans, your Z move’s stun just got better. Expect more control and easier follow-ups in fights.
And if you’re running Solace, your C move now cancels on parry. That alone can flip the pace mid-combat.
Now the nerfs and reworks:
Let’s get into the gritty side—Arata now drains HP at 1.5% per second instead of relying on hunger. But here’s the twist: when it drains HP, it buffs your damage by +15 on Arata%. Risk-reward just got real.
AUS got a bunch of balancing tweaks. Criticals last longer (6 seconds), but counter and stun mechanics have been streamlined to make things more fair. Movestacking after landing Z? Gone. M1 speed? Slightly slower now.
Jason13, especially V2, got hit hard:
- Damage across the board took a dive.
- Empowered Z move bugs? Fixed.
- Crit and X now cancel on dodge/parry.
- Z charges quicker, and “Click Z” now GB’s (Guard Breaks).
- Final hit of crit also GB’s.
- Hitboxes got cleaned up and rebalanced.
Basically, Jason13 mains are going to need to adjust—this version won’t hit like it used to.
Other Cleanups:
Serrate V2 players should notice smoother gameplay now. Memory leaks and FPS drops were patched up (finally), and a bunch of air-move timing got adjusted. Hyperarmor also got toned down or removed in spots, so it won’t feel as overpowered.
This patch is clearly aimed at shaking up the meta. Whether you’re into fast-paced brawling or heavy-hitting strategies, there’s something here that’ll affect how you play.
And don’t forget—the game has GHOUL://RE codes, so make sure to redeem them and stay ahead.
